Medical treatment Medical assistance is available on board round-the-clock (24 hours). In case of health problems do not hesitate to address receptionists. The first medical aid is free of charge, further treatment is provided for extra payment.
Restaurant
Meal times vary daily, depending upon the ship’s schedule in port. The menu of each day can be found next to the entrance of the restaurant. During the cruise you will be offered a choice of courses. If you need a special diet, please inform your guide about it. Tea and coffee are served with each meal. Drinks that are not included can be ordered in the bar or the restaurant for extra payment.
Bottled Water Bottled water is available for sale in the bars and restaurants.
Post office and telephone You can purchase stamps, envelopes and postcards on board our ships. You may leave your mail at the reception and it will be sent from the nearest post.
There is a telephone cabin on board depending on the ship. You have an opportunity to buy telephone cards at the reception. (Please, check by booking if this service is available on the ship).
Air-conditioning/heating
You may control temperature in your cabin. Read carefully operating instructions.
Laundry Laundry service is provided by maids. Put soiled items in any plastic bag with the list of the items and your cabin number. Leave the bag on your bed. Clean laundry will be returned to your room the following day along with the bill. Payment for laundry service is due upon receipt to the maid.
The cost of laundry services is given in the price list on board the ship.

Irons An ironing room with irons and ironing boards is located on the ship.
Radio Each cabin is equipped with radio. It broadcasts a morning wake-up call, as well as light music and announcements during the day.
Souvenir shop Souvenir shop offers authentic souvenirs at excellent prices. Visa and Master Cards are accepted.
Entertainment on board Every day you will be offered a wide choice of entertainment activities – onboard dances, music performances, folkloric and classical music evenings, contest games, lectures about the country( its people and traditions), Russian lessons and other events.
Every day we will inform you about a daily program. Listen to the radio announcements and read information on our stands. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to address crew members or receptionists.

Ports of call, cities and excursions
During the cruise you have an excellent opportunity to participate in different excursions included in your cruise package. You will also be offered a number of optional tours, which can be booked and paid for aboard.

Money. Currency exchange
The national monetary unit is the Russian rouble. One rouble is made up of 100 kopiecks. In Russia payments for all goods and services are to be done in Russian roubles or by credit (debit) cards. It is possible to exchange money at any bank, at exchange office and at the majority of hotels and large department stores. In Russia the following credit (debit) cards are accepted: VISA, Master card, Euro card, American Express, Diners Club, Maestro.
There is no currency exchange aboard. Please ask your guide for its opportunity in ports of calls.
Payment on board In accordance with Russian low the official currency on board is the rouble. You can pay cash for services or by Visa/MasterCard.
Personal safety We do not recommend you to take your personal documents to the excursion and leave your bags unattended. We earnestly request you to close the window and lock the door of your cabin when you leave it.
Water Tap water is suitable for showers and teeth brushing and is not designated for drinking.
Clothing tips
There is no formal dress code, casual style is ok on board.
Though shorts, short skirts and sleeveless tops are not welcomed while visiting the Orthodox churches. In this case we do recommend you to dress conservatively (trousers for gentleman, long skirts and scarves for ladies).
At the end of the cruise the Capitan will invite you to Capitan’s dinner, where evening attire is recommended.
Tipping
Tip is not included in the price of your trip. The amount depends on your satisfaction with services and cruise.
Force majeure In case of strikes, military actions, weather conditions and other force majeure circumstances we have right to change the cruise or the date of departure, cancel the cruise, substitute the ship or
port of call without any prior notice and responsibility for it.
Embarkation Cruises to Valaam
We recommend you to arrive to the city where the cruise starts at least three hours previously to departure of the ship. The embarkation begins two hours before departure. All passengers must be on board the ship at least one hour before departure. You are the only one, who’s responsible for your duly arrival.
If the passenger is late or absent for any reasons, the cruises will be canceled, though the money will not be paid back. Cruise Saint-Petersburg-Moscow, Moscow-Saint-Petersburg The ship leaves every port of call in definite time. It can not be changed in spite of the passenger’s absence, if he/she’s late or any other reason. In case of nonpresence, the passenger should arrive to the next port of call by some other model of transport (which is not always possible).
Cruise prices include: - accommodation in cabins with private bathroom/shower etc.;
- catering in restaurant;
- excursions according to the program;
- entertainment program on board;
- foreign language speaking guides on board (for cruises Moscow-Saint-Petersburg, Saint-Petersburg-Moscow only);
- transfers (airport-ship-airport) (for cruises Moscow-Saint-Petersburg, Saint-Petersburg-Moscow and for groups only).
Cruise prices exclude: - drinks in bars on board;
- telephone calls;
- sauna;
- laundry service;
- optional tours;
- tip for the crew and staff of the ship.
Customs and Duty Free
Goods that may be imported into the Russian Federation by people over 16 years of age without incurring customs duty: 200 cigarettes or 100 cigars or cigarillos or 250 g of tobacco; 1 litre of spirits; 2 litres of still wine and 2 litres of sparkling wine; a reasonable quantity of perfume for personal use.
Prohibited imports: military weapons and ammunition, narcotics, pornography, rough stones, fruits and vegetables, live animals.
Prohibited exports: prohibited imports, as well as annulled securities, state loan certificates, lottery tickets, works of art and antiques (unless permission has been granted by the Ministry of Culture).
